Wendy Jarrell
Construction Inspector
Wendy Jarrell began her career in the construction industry in 2005 starting as a laborer apprentice. Upon completion of her apprenticeship, she worked for Mekis Construction (Fenelton, PA) as their concrete technician, served on their safety committee and was as a key employee. As a concrete technician, Ms. Jarrell tied steel, poured concrete, laid rebar, graded roadways, and assisted carpenters with forming. She assisted on many different bridges and box culverts projects during her tenure with Mekis Construction. She was also trained and/or certified in/as the following: signalperson, flagging, hazard communications, CPR, man lift, grade checking, plan reading, scaffolding, 10-hour OSHA, skid steer operator, ACI field technician, NECEPT field technician.Ms. Jarrell joined Quality Engineering Solutions as a Construction Inspector in 2017. As a TCI-2 inspector, Ms. Jarrell inspects bridges and roadways to meet current standards and specifications. She has also inspected roadway grading, excavation, bridge rehabilitation, bridge building, drainage, sawing and sealing, various pavement markings and asphalt placement.
