Best-effort route matching against VDOT's public LRS_Route_Master layer, keyed by parsing CHTRIS_ID into route type/number/direction. This hasn't been verified against live data yet — check the browser console for [Map] diagnostic logs the first time you use this, and flag anything that looks off. Only Primary Extensions/PD/SD/Interstates/Ramps-style routes can be matched this way; Locals routes (named streets) aren't shown here.
