Douglas J. Frith, P.E.
VP of Engineering
Douglas Frith is a registered Professional Engineer with a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from with an emphasis in pavement materials along with over 30 years of pavement consulting and construction experience. He is the Vice President of Pavement Engineering and manages the Reno, NV office.
Mr. Frith is an expert in pavement design and evaluations, quality control and assurance, pavement management and transportation research. He has completed evaluations, designs and design-build efforts for streets, highways, airports and port facilities Mr. Frith also has overseen the implementation of pavement management systems for dozens of cities, counties, airport and military installations.
Mr. Frith is an active member of the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) committee on Pavement Management Systems (AFD10) and Standing Committee on Pavement Monitoring and Evaluation (AFD20). Mr. Frith has contributed to several national research projects including LTPP and WesTrack and he has numerous technical presentations and publications on a broad range of pavement topics.
